LVACS Bylaws



The Lehigh Valley Section of the American Chemical Society (LVACS) is a volunteer organization founded in 1894 and serves the Lehigh Valley area which is comprised of Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, and Schuylkill Counties in Pennsylvania, as well as Warren County in New Jersey. 

Members are volunteers from a variety of chemistry-related professions dedicated to educating the public about the benefits of the chemical sciences through educational outreach, professional development and meetings.

Meetings often feature guest speakers, and occur eight times per year at locations within the section boundaries.  Educational, professional outreach and social events take place throughout the year.
