"Generating Community recognition for chemistry and the LVACS!"
Help Put Chemistry in the Headlines
The goal of the Public Relations Committee is to get stories about LVACS in the paper, on the radio, or on television by advertising Local Section activities and the great work of chemists.
"Perception is reality."
Positive news stories about chemistry and the LVACS members perform can improve public appreciation for our profession. That’s where public relations activities can make a big difference in our visibility to the community.
From local section National Chemistry Week activities to a breakthrough performed by chemists in your town, there are many great chemistry stories happening in your community that your local media may want to cover. But first they have to know about them – and that’s where the Public Relations Committee can make a difference.
Tell us what you have been up to!
